DWYANE WADE AND AJA METOYER CELEBRATE SONS BIRTHDAY

Dwyane Wade and Aja Metoyer celebrated their son Xavier Zechariah Wade’s birthday this past weekend. The celebrity parents gave their son a Fortnite themed celebration that included Nick Young’s girlfriend, Keonna Necole, and their kids.

Xavier Zechariah Wade was born on November 10, 2013. His arrival came as a shock to many who knew Dwyane Wade was in a committed relationship with Gabrielle Union at the time. Some did not initially believe the star athlete fathered a child outside of his relationship. Dwyane, however, cleared the air by publicly admitting he and Aja welcomed a son.

“I had a child with someone else, and I had to tell her,” Dwyane Wade recently said of his decision to break the news of his fathering Xavier to his then-fiancee, Gabrielle Union. “[The] hardest thing I’ve ever had to do is man up and tell Gabrielle Union that I’ve had a child with somebody else,” the celebrity father admitted. “I couldn’t sleep. I wasn’t eating.”

Gabrielle ultimately accepted Dwyane’s fathering a son outside of their relationship. The actress went on to marry her fiance and later welcomed a child, Kaavia James Union Wade, with her husband.
