Throwback: See John Terry’s slip which handed the UCL to Man United in Moscow 2008 (Video)

On this day in Wednesday, May 21, 2008, a  slip by Chelsea captain John Terry handed Manchester United the Champions League title.

The game between Manchester United and Chelsea was the first all-English club Champions League final.

A Cristiano Ronaldo header in the 26th minute gave Manchester United the lead but Frank Lampard equalized for Chelsea in the 45th minute.

The game went to extra-time and Didier Drogba was sent off for slapping Nemanja Vidic.

Tevez, Carrick, Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson, Giggs all scored their penalties for Manchester United except Ronaldo.

Ballack, Belletti, Lampard, A. Cole, Kalou all scored their penalties for Chelsea while Terry and Anelka missed.
