After completing the main story in Rescue Team DX, Gulpin will open up a new service for Pokémon to learn moves outside of their level-up and TM movepool (equivalent to moves learned by tutoring in the core series games). This service costs the player money, and the price differs for individual moves.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Ginji's Rescue Team
Pokémon Square first appeared in I Want to be Human Again!, where Ginji and Mudkip visited it. During their visit, they encountered Gengar, who asked them to accompany him to visit Xatu at the Hill of the Ancients. Initially, he only did so in order to get to steal some stuff from Xatu, but after hearing Xatu say that Ginji was actually a human, he told the residents of Pokémon Square the Ninetales legend upon his return there, claiming that Ginji was the human mentioned in the legend and that his existence was the cause of the natural disasters that plagued the world.
In Goodbye to a Peaceful Village!, Ginji and Mudkip left Pokémon Square in order to find Ninetales and find out if Ginji truly was the human mentioned in the legend.
